Dear Ellie began with a simple problem — our 2-year-old daughter never liked having her hair tied. No matter what we used, she would remove it within seconds.

Wanting something gentler and more comfortable, we created our first XL scrunchie using our sewing machine. Designed to be soft, lightweight, and easy to wear, it was the first hair tie she actually kept on.

Seeing how much she loved it inspired us to create more — and soon, Dear Ellie was born.
